Workshop: Creating a Personalized Wellness Plan

Numerous studies have shown that people are happier and substantially more productive when they are taking care of their well-being. Yet many people never consider what level of self-care would be sufficient to not just avoid illness, but truly be well on a mental, physical and emotional level.  This workshop is designed for people to create individualized wellness programs for use in their daily lives.

In the workshop participants first consider the various aspects of well-being: physical, mental, emotional, social, spiritual, relationships, lifestyle, etc.  The group then brainstorms actions a person could take each day to improve his or her level of health and vitality.  Each person creates a well-being checklist of daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly items – for a truly comprehensive wellness plan.  Finally, we discuss ways to use a well-being checklist and other structures to assist people in staying on track with their wellness goals.

The intention of this workshop is that each person leave with an individualized wellness plan tailored to address his or her own specific needs and preferences.
